Certification of RoHS Compliance Steuby Mfg. Co.
The European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU calls for restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Although Steuby Mfg, Co. does not manufacture electrical or electronic equipment, some of our mechanical components could possibly be incorporated into a customer’s electrical or electronic equipment. Steuby Mfg. Co. hereby certifies that all products designated as “RoHS Complaint” in our Inventory fully comply with the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU. The vast majority of our products are RoHS complaint. Any Product identified as “RoHS Compliant” material specifications contains less than the following amounts of all restricted substances:
We have obtained and will continue to obtain Certificates of Compliance from our supplier base. Because some information is provided by sources outside of Steuby Mfg. Co., we make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy of such outside information. Steuby Mfg. Co. continually works to obtain accurate, certifiable third-party information, but has not conducted analytical or chemical analyses on all materials, purchased components on all materials, purchased components, and process chemicals.

Conflict Minerals Statement Steuby Mfg. Co.
Steuby Manufacturing has reviewed Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, governing the use of conflict minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries. In accordance with the requirement, Materials Management at Steuby Manufacturing has investigated the materials used in Steuby products and has not found any of the conflict minerals – Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, and or Gold - originating from the DRC region. The material origin was determined via material certificates of purchased parts and official declarations by the suppliers. Since the investigation of conflict minerals is and ongoing process, Materials Management at Steuby Manufacturing will continue to review its products to ensure that no conflict minerals originating from the DRC region are used.
